Packet Pickup / Clinics
Packet pickup will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, April 11th and from 6:00am to 7:30am Saturday, April 12th at the T. J. Davis Recreation Center race site. All participants must be body marked and have their timing chip on to enter the transition area. In order to pick up your timing chip, participants must have their race bib. Only participants will be allowed in the transition area. Transition opens at 6:00am and closes at 7:30am.
All participants, including individual team members, must present a photo ID and pick up their own individual race packet. All participants must be members of USA Triathlon and present a valid annual membership card or a copy of event registration showing purchase of a USA Triathlon single event permit. Without a valid annual membership card or copy of the registration single event permit, a USA Triathlon $10.00 single event permit must be purchased in order to participate. NO Exceptions.
A mandatory pre-race meeting will be held April 12th 7:30am on race morning at the transition area. Details and updates will be covered concerning the race and course with questions answered.
Tri Roanoke Valley will hold a series of free triathlon clinics offering information on equipment, training, nutrition, and training plans. Also learn about the Tri 24 Swim Program and free swim clinics. The clinic series will be presented 7:00pm-9:00pm on January 10, February 21, and March 27 at the T.J. Davis Recreation Center.
